Help

I did not receive my confirmation email

First, check your email's spam folder to make sure MothersClick emails are not being flagged as spam. (Note: to prevent and fix this, add no-reply@parentsclick.com to your address book)

Next, to resend the email, login and click the “My Profile” tab and then “My email accounts” in the upper portion of this page. Now, click the "Confirm" button next to the email you are trying to confirm. It can sometimes take a few minutes for this email to be sent.

I'm not receiving any emails

First, after logging in click the “My Profile” tab and then “My email accounts” in the upper portion of this page. Ensure that your email has been added to your account and is confirmed.

Next, check your spam filters to make sure MothersClick emails are not being flagged as spam. To prevent and fix this, add “no-reply@mothersclick.com” to your address book.

I'm receiving too many emails

If you are receiving too many emails, you may adjust the frequency of emails or even turn off emails completely. After logging in, after logging in click the “My Profile” tab and then click “My notifications” in the upper portion of this page. Scroll down and then adjust your “notifications” as necessary. Then save your notification settings.

I can't login

Did you forget your password? Try requesting a new password by typing in your email and clicking “email new password”.

If you still can't login, trying deleting your browser's cookies. Cookies are a browsers way of remembering who you are, sometimes they can get corrupted and need to be reset. Follow these directions depending on your browser:

Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE)

  1. Open IE and click on the “Tools” menu.
  2. Select “Internet Options.”
  3. Click on the “General” tab if it isn't selected already.
  4. Under the heading “Temporary Internet files,” click on “Delete Cookies...”
  5. Click “OK” for the “Delete all cookies in the Temporary Internet Files folder?” prompt.
  6. Click “OK” to exit.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open Firefox and click on the “Tools” menu.
  2. Select “Options.”
  3. Click on the “Privacy” icon on the left.
  4. Select “Cookies“ and click on “View Cookies”
  5. Select google.com from the list and press “remove cookie.”
  6. Click “OK” to exit.
MothersClick looks odd or broken on my computer

When you visit MothersClick, your browser keeps a copy of the site locally on your computer. Sometimes this copy get out of date and the site might look a bit odd. Deleting this copy, or clearing your cache, can fix this problem. Follow these directions depending on your browser:

Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE)

  1. Click the “Tools” menu at the top of your browser, and select “Internet Options.”
  2. Click the “General” tab at the top of the dialogue box.
  3. Click “Delete Files” under “Temporary Internet files.”
  4. Select “Delete all offline content” by checking the box.
  5. Click “OK.”

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click the “Tools” menu at the top of your browser, and select “Options.”
  2. Click “Privacy.”
  3. Click “Clear” next to “Cache.”
  4. Click “OK.”

Safari

  1. Open the 'Safari' menu on your browser's toolbar.
  2. Select 'Empty Cache.'
  3. Click 'Empty' in the dialogue box.

In some cases, it may be necessary to clear your cache more than once.

Additionally, sometimes your browser's font size can be set incorrectly, to reset it to normal settings, follow these steps:

Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE)

  1. Click the “View” menu at the top of your browser, and select “Text Size.“
  2. Click “Medium”

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click the “View” menu at the top of your browser, and select “Text Size.“
  2. Click “Normal”
Why are some comments marked as “helpful” and others not?

When comments on MothersClick receive a positive rating from users, they will be marked “helpful”. This is determined by how many positive and negative votes a comment receives.
